Amazon’s Finance Operations Payroll team has an immediate opening for a Program Delivery Specialist (PDS) as an individual contributor, with spoken and written fluency in English, whose experience illustrates a clear ability to drive business decisions based on data analytics, manage stakeholder engagements, and support MBRs and Payroll projects to meet medium and long-term business needs.
The PDS is self-driven, team focused, and goal oriented with an objective in delivering business solutions that meets the users’ needs. The Global Payroll PDS is a member of a Global Payroll Program Delivery team. We are a fun and diverse team with members in several different countries.
The Program Delivery function is within the Payroll team (Finance Operations) and as such this position will work with Leadership in Payroll Operations, Vendor Management, Operational Excellence, Technical Initiatives team within Payroll to build and deliver high impact successful Global programs and projects, that will support the drive inputs for the global &, regional performance dashboards, stakeholder engagement, financial monitoring and readiness, change request management, data management etc. In addition, at the core, PDS will be responsible to deliver “Vendor On-boarding &, Operational Compliance Readiness” of all Global Payroll projects in partnership with the relevant stakeholders.
Roles &, Responsibilities:
Work with vendors / third parties to dive deep into a wide range of security disciplines and develop risk assessments to maintain Amazon data handling requirements for third party relationships that includes third-party security assessment (TPSA), Application risk assessment including Vulnerability and Penetration Testing, HR Privacy Reviews.
Work along with InfoSec, Payroll Operations, vendors and internal teams across regions, understanding vendors’ data sharing use cases, requirements, pain points, and challenges.
Manage certain critical centralized tasks i.e. perform Vendor Operational Compliance Readiness e.g. initiate NDAs, ABDD – Anti Bribery Due Diligence, Financial Risk Assessment, New vendor client reference check, Vendor on-boarding in Payee Central- online &, manual, Vendor PO creation, Contract Risk Assessment (Insurance Review), Tax approval, RFP Vendor Scoring sheet, RFP Vendor Cost Model, Vendor Compliance and Controllership Assessment, Vendor assessment for Technical Questionnaire, review vendor financials and provide cost saving recommendations, drive vendor BCP program, provide strategic vendor RFI and RFP support to enable successful vendor due diligence.
Work along with Payroll Operations, vendors, and internal teams to develop and constantly evolve standard dashboard formats and publish them to the stakeholders for discussions and reviews on an ongoing basis.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners for the program.
Ability to roll up sleeves and operate as an individual contributor to get the job done, at the same time be able to guide stakeholders toward an objective.
Work with stakeholders to understand the users’ goals and objectives and identify success criteria, and Manage and present data to drive strategic business decisions.
Work with all stakeholders to ensure implemented solution meets defined success criteria.
Conducting Project Quality Framework (PQF) reviews of on-going projects. Partner with the rest of the PD Global team, PMO and Payroll teams in assessing tools, approaches, processes, methodology and techniques to improve efficiency.
5+ years working experience in shared services or similar operations in the Finance Operations/HR/Payroll filed.
Experience in preparing and supporting the dashboards/metrics to review with senior stakeholders and customers.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, to support projects and initiatives.

Strong process documentation skills.
Experience in Information Security/BCP.
